Seaward Co Ltd is a 100% Seychelles owned company with a wealth of experience in the shipping industry. The company’s main services include shipping agency & vessel representation, logistics & warehouse management services and stevedoring services. Seaward employs over 40 fulltime employees and engages more than 500 stevedores (casual labourers). The workforce is entirely Seychellois, a choice that emphasises the importance of promoting and developing local capabilities which we at Seaward wear as a badge of pride.
Whilst the company is relatively new, its shareholders and directors have over 25 years of experience in shipping agency and stevedoring services, working in key roles in Seychelles’ largest shipping related companies. Seaward Co. Ltd represents four major Spanish Fishing Operators in the Seychelles and supports their activities with a well-established network of services.

History & Highlights
The Company received the opportunity to welcome and assist ATUNLO a leading European Tuna Processing Entity with various branches around the World.
Seaward successfully negotiated with Government for the vaccination of seafarers.
President Wavel Ramkalawan welcomed a delegation from local shipping agent, Seaward Company (Pty) Limited and two international companies, Albacora, S.A. and Inpesca, S.A for a meeting at State House. Also present was the Designated Minister, who is also the Minister for Fisheries and the Blue Economy, Mr Jean-Francois Ferrari.
In February 2021, Seaward Co Pty Ltd welcomed ATUNSA yet another client with 3 additional purse seiners and 1 supply vessel.
2021 started on a high for Seaward Co Pty Ltd with the addition of PEVASA owning 2 purse seiners.
Three foreign companies involved in industrial fishing in the Seychelles’ waters made a donation of SCR 3.2 million ($151,000) to help in the administration of the COVID-19 vaccination programme expected to roll out early next year. The Board Charter, Dividend Policy and formalising of the Share Offers began. A process which required the transformation of the Company from a Proprietary Ltd to a Limited Company.
The Company partnered with Seafront Logistic Ltd to enhance the clearing and forwarding and transportation services for its clients.
Seaward’s Documentation Team collaborated with Travizory to successfully implement the online application for health authorization entry procedures.
The outbreak of cases onboard fishing vessels presented as yet another challenge. Seaward received the commitment from Inpesca and Albacora for representation of 100% of both fleet. Seaward assisted its customers in obtaining approval and seeing out crew changes through charter flights.
Like any other business, Seaward was struck by the adverse effects of the Coronavirus Pandemic however remained resilient.
Seaward Co Pty Ltd received representation for additional vessels from both Inpesca and Albacora. Agreement was also secured with SAPMER to provide stevedoring services to all their vessels working at the Commercial and Fishing Port
